And God remembered4 Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that [was] with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass55 over the earth, and the waters asswaged;4
The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped,11 and the rain from heaven was restrained;11
And the waters returned4 from off the earth continually:2 7725 2 and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.4
And the ark rested4 in the seventh month, on the seventeenth 7651 day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
And the waters decreased2 continually2 until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first [day] of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.8
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened4 the window of the ark which he had made:1
And he sent forth17 a raven, which went forth4 to2 and fro,2 until the waters were dried up2 from off the earth.
Also he sent forth17 a dove from him, to see2 if the waters were abated1 from off the face of the ground;
But the dove found1 no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned4 unto him into the ark, for the waters [were] on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth4 his hand, and took her,4 and pulled her in55 unto him into the ark.
And he stayed4 yet other seven days; and again55 he sent forth15 the dove out of the ark;
And the dove came in4 to him in the evening; 6153 and, lo, in her mouth [was] an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew4 that the waters were abated1 from off the earth.
And he stayed11 yet other seven days; and sent forth17 the dove; which returned2 not again1 unto him any more.
And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first [month], the first [day] of the month, the waters were dried up1 from off the earth: and Noah removed55 the covering of the ark, and looked,4 and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.1
And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.1
And God spake17 unto Noah, saying,2
Go forth3 of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
Bring forth54 with thee every living thing that [is] with thee, of all flesh, [both] of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth6 upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly1 in the earth, and be fruitful,1 and multiply1 upon the earth.
And Noah went forth,4 and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:
Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, [and] whatsoever creepeth6 upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth1 out of the ark.
And Noah builded4 an altar unto the LORD; and took4 of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered55 burnt offerings on the altar.
And the LORD smelled55 a sweet savour; and the LORD said4 in his heart, I will not again55 curse15 the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart [is] evil from his youth; neither will I again55 smite53 any more every thing living, as I have done.1
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.4
