Psalms 2 | King James Bible |
Chapter 3 | |
| A Psalm of David, when he fled2 from Absalom his son. |
| Many [there be] which say6 of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God. Selah. |
| But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up56 of mine head. |
| I cried4 unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard4 me out of his holy hill. Selah. |
| I laid me down1 and slept;4 I awaked;52 for the LORD sustained4 me. |
| I will not be afraid4 of ten thousands of people, that have set1 [themselves] against me round about. |
| Arise,3 O LORD; save54 me, O my God: for thou hast smitten52 all mine enemies6 [upon] the cheek bone; thou hast broken14 the teeth of the ungodly. |
| Salvation [belongeth] unto the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. Selah. |
