Psalms 12 | King James Bible |
Chapter 13 | |
1 | To the chief Musician,18 A Psalm of David. |
2 | How long shall I take4 counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy6 be exalted4 over me? |
3 | Consider54 [and] hear3 me, O LORD my God: lighten54 mine eyes, lest I sleep4 the [sleep of] death; |
4 | Lest mine enemy6 say,4 I have prevailed1 against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice4 when I am moved.11 |
5 | But I have trusted1 in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice4 in thy salvation. |
6 | I will sing4 unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully1 with me. |
