Psalms 24 | King James Bible |
Chapter 25 | |
| [A Psalm] of David. |
| O my God, I trust1 in thee: let me not be ashamed,4 let not mine enemies6 triumph4 over me. |
| Yea, let none that wait6 on thee be ashamed:4 let them be ashamed4 which transgress6 without cause. |
| |
| Lead54 me in thy truth, and teach16 me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait14 all the day. |
| Remember,3 O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they [have been] ever of old. |
| Remember4 not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember3 thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD. |
| Good and upright [is] the LORD: therefore will he teach55 sinners in the way. |
| The meek will he guide55 in judgment: and the meek will he teach17 his way. |
| All the paths of the LORD [are] mercy and truth unto such as keep6 his covenant and his testimonies. |
| For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon1 mine iniquity; for it [is] great. |
| What man [is] he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach55 in the way [that] he shall choose.4 |
| His soul shall dwell4 at ease; and his seed shall inherit4 the earth. |
| The secret of the LORD [is] with them that fear him; and he will shew53 them his covenant. |
| Mine eyes [are] ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out55 of the net. |
| Turn3 thee unto me, and have mercy3 upon me; for I [am] desolate and afflicted. |
| The troubles of my heart are enlarged:52 [O] bring thou me out54 of my distresses. |
| Look3 upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive3 all my sins. |
| Consider3 mine enemies;6 for they are many;1 and they hate1 me with cruel hatred. |
| O keep3 my soul, and deliver54 me: let me not be ashamed;4 for I put my trust1 in thee. |
| Let integrity and uprightness preserve4 me; for I wait14 on thee. |
