Psalms 29 | King James Bible |
Chapter 30 | |
| A Psalm [and] Song [at] the dedication of the house of David. |
| O LORD my God, I cried14 unto thee, and thou hast healed4 me. |
| O LORD, thou hast brought up52 my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive,14 that I should not go down2 3381 6 to the pit. |
| Sing16 unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks54 at the remembrance of his holiness. |
| For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure4 for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning. |
| And in my prosperity I said,1 I shall never 5769 be moved.11 |
| LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand52 strong: thou didst hide52 thy face, [and] I was troubled.12 |
| I cried4 to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.101 |
| What profit [is there] in my blood, when I go down2 to the pit? Shall the dust praise55 thee? shall it declare55 thy truth? |
| Hear,3 O LORD, and have mercy3 upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.6 |
| Thou hast turned1 for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off14 my sackcloth, and girded17 me with gladness; |
| To the end that [my] glory may sing praise17 to thee, and not be silent.4 O LORD my God, I will give thanks55 unto thee for ever. |
