Psalms 62 | King James Bible |
Chapter 63 | |
| A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. |
| To see2 thy power and thy glory, so [as] I have seen1 thee in the sanctuary. |
| Because thy lovingkindness [is] better than life, my lips shall praise17 thee. |
| Thus will I bless17 thee while I live: I will lift up4 my hands in thy name. |
| My soul shall be satisfied4 as [with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise17 [thee] with joyful lips: |
| When I remember1 thee upon my bed, [and] meditate4 on thee in the [night] watches. |
| Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.17 |
| My soul followeth hard1 after thee: thy right hand upholdeth1 me. |
| But those [that] seek17 my soul, to destroy [it], shall go4 into the lower parts of the earth. |
| They shall fall55 by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. |
| But the king shall rejoice4 in God; every one that sweareth12 by him shall glory:101 but the mouth of them that speak6 lies shall be stopped.11 |
