Psalms 63 | King James Bible |
Chapter 64 | |
| To the chief Musician,18 A Psalm of David. |
| Hide55 me from the secret counsel of the wicked;56 from the insurrection of the workers6 of iniquity: |
| Who whet1 their tongue like a sword, [and] bend1 [their bows to shoot] their arrows, [even] bitter words: |
| That they may shoot2 in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot55 at him, and fear4 not. |
| They encourage17 themselves [in] an evil matter: they commune17 of laying snares privily;2 they say,1 Who shall see4 them? |
| They search out4 iniquities; they accomplish1 a diligent30 search: both the inward [thought] of every one [of them], and the heart, [is] deep. |
| But God shall shoot55 at them [with] an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. |
| So they shall make their own tongue to fall55 upon themselves: all that see6 them shall flee away.113 |
| And all men shall fear,4 and shall declare55 the work of God; for they shall wisely consider52 of his doing. |
| The righteous shall be glad4 in the LORD, and shall trust1 in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.101 |
