Psalms 65 | King James Bible |
Chapter 66 | |
| To the chief Musician,18 A Song [or] Psalm. |
| Sing forth16 the honour of his name: make3 his praise glorious. |
| Say3 unto God, How terrible12 [art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies6 submit17 themselves unto thee. |
| All the earth shall worship101 thee, and shall sing17 unto thee; they shall sing17 [to] thy name. Selah. |
| Come3 and see3 the works of God: [he is] terrible12 [in his] doing toward the children of men. |
| He turned1 the sea into dry [land]: they went4 through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice4 in him. |
| He ruleth6 by his power for ever; his eyes behold4 the nations: let not the rebellious6 exalt4 7311 55 themselves. Selah. |
| O bless16 our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:54 |
| Which holdeth6 our soul in life, and suffereth1 not our feet to be moved. |
| For thou, O God, hast proved1 us: thou hast tried1 us, as silver is tried.2 |
| Thou broughtest52 us into the net; thou laidst1 affliction upon our loins. |
| Thou hast caused men to ride52 over our heads; we went1 through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out55 into a wealthy [place]. |
| I will go4 into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay17 thee my vows, |
| Which my lips have uttered,1 and my mouth hath spoken,14 when I was in trouble. |
| I will offer55 unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer4 bullocks with goats. Selah. |
| Come3 [and] hear,3 all ye that fear God, and I will declare17 what he hath done1 for my soul. |
| I cried1 unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled36 7318 36 with my tongue. |
| If I regard1 iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear4 [me]: |
| [But] verily God hath heard1 [me]; he hath attended52 to the voice of my prayer. |
| Blessed7 [be] God, which hath not turned away52 my prayer, nor his mercy from me. |
