Psalms 75 | King James Bible |
Chapter 76 | |
| To the chief Musician18 on Neginoth, A Psalm [or] Song of Asaph. |
| In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion. |
| There brake14 he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah. |
| Thou [art] more glorious12 [and] excellent than the mountains of prey. |
| The stouthearted 3820 are spoiled,113 they have slept1 their sleep: and none of the men of might have found1 their hands. |
| At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.12 |
| Thou, [even] thou, [art] to be feared:12 and who may stand4 in thy sight when once thou art angry? |
| Thou didst cause judgment to be heard52 from heaven; the earth feared,1 and was still,1 |
| When God arose2 to judgment, to save53 all the meek of the earth. Selah. |
| Surely the wrath of man shall praise55 thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.4 |
| Vow,3 and pay16 unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring55 presents unto him that ought to be feared. |
| He shall cut off4 the spirit of princes: [he is] terrible12 to the kings of the earth. |
