Chapter 96

1

O sing3 unto the LORD a new song: sing3 unto the LORD, all the earth.

2

Sing3 unto the LORD, bless16 his name; shew forth16 his salvation from day to day.

3

Declare16 his glory among the heathen, his wonders12 among all people.

4

For the LORD [is] great, and greatly to be praised:30 he [is] to be feared12 above all gods.

5

For all the gods of the nations [are] idols: but the LORD made1 the heavens.

6

Honour and majesty [are] before him: strength and beauty [are] in his sanctuary.

7

Give3 unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give3 unto the LORD glory and strength.

8

Give3 unto the LORD the glory [due unto] his name: bring3 an offering, and come3 into his courts.

9

O worship100 the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear3 before him, all the earth.

10

Say3 among the heathen [that] the LORD reigneth:1 the world also shall be established11 that it shall not be moved:11 he shall judge4 the people righteously.

11

Let the heavens rejoice,4 and let the earth be glad;4 let the sea roar,4 and the fulness thereof.

12

Let the field be joyful,4 and all that [is] therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice17

13

Before the LORD: for he cometh,1 for he cometh1 to judge2 the earth: he shall judge4 the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
