Chapter 13

In that day there shall be a fountain opened¹² to the house of David and to the inhabitants⁶ of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith⁷ the LORD of hosts, [that] I will cut off⁵⁵ the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered:¹¹ and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass⁵⁵ out of the land.

And it shall come to pass, [that] when any shall yet prophesy,¹¹ then his father and his mother that begat⁶ him shall say¹ unto him, Thou shalt not live;⁴ for thou speakest¹⁴ lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat⁶ him shall thrust¹ him through when he prophesieth.⁹

And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the prophets shall be ashamed⁴ every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied;⁹ neither shall they wear⁴ a rough garment to deceive:¹⁵

But he shall say,¹ I [am] no prophet, I [am] an husbandman; ^{5647 6 127} for man taught me to keep⁵² cattle from my youth.

And [one] shall say¹ unto him, What [are] these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer,¹ [Those] with which I was wounded⁹⁰ [in] the house of my friends.¹⁸

Awake,³ O sword, against my shepherd,⁶ and against the man [that is] my fellow, saith⁷ the LORD of hosts: smite⁵⁴ the shepherd,⁶ and the sheep shall be scattered:⁴ and I will turn⁵² mine hand upon the little ones.⁶

And it shall come to pass, [that] in all the land, saith⁷ the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off¹¹ [and] die;⁴ but the third shall be left¹¹ therein.

And I will bring⁵² the third part through the fire, and will refine¹ them as silver is refined,² and will try¹ them as gold is tried:² they shall call⁴ on my name, and I will hear⁴ them: I will say,¹ It [is] my people: and they shall say,⁴ The LORD [is] my God.
