Psalms 32 | King James Bible |
Chapter 33 | |
| Rejoice16 in the LORD, O ye righteous: [for] praise is comely for the upright. |
| Praise54 the LORD with harp: sing16 unto him with the psaltery [and] an instrument of ten strings. |
| Sing3 unto him a new song; play15 skilfully54 with a loud noise. |
| For the word of the LORD [is] right; and all his works [are done] in truth. |
| He loveth6 righteousness and judgment: the earth is full1 of the goodness of the LORD. |
| By the word of the LORD were the heavens made;8 and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. |
| He gathereth6 the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up6 the depth in storehouses. |
| Let all the earth fear4 the LORD: let all the inhabitants6 of the world stand in awe4 of him. |
| For he spake,1 and it was [done]; he commanded,14 and it stood fast.4 |
| The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought:52 he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.52 |
| The counsel of the LORD standeth4 for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. |
| Blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the LORD; [and] the people [whom] he hath chosen1 for his own inheritance. |
| The LORD looketh52 from heaven; he beholdeth1 all the sons of men. |
| From the place of his habitation2 he looketh52 upon all the inhabitants6 of the earth. |
| He fashioneth6 their hearts alike; he considereth56 all their works. |
| There is no king saved12 by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered11 by much strength. |
| An horse [is] a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver17 [any] by his great strength. |
| Behold, the eye of the LORD [is] upon them that fear him, upon them that hope18 in his mercy; |
| To deliver53 their soul from death, and to keep them alive15 in famine. |
| Our soul waiteth14 for the LORD: he [is] our help and our shield. |
| For our heart shall rejoice4 in him, because we have trusted1 in his holy name. |
| Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope14 in thee. |
