And Jesus went out and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. |

| o de ihsouV eipen autoiV ou blepete panta tauta amhn legw umin ou mh afeqh wde liqoV epi liqon oV ou mh kataluqhsetai
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things ? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down |

| kaqhmenou de autou epi tou orouV twn elaiwn proshlqon autw oi maqhtai kat idian legonteV eipe hmin pote tauta estai kai ti to shmeion thV shs* parousiaV kai thV sunteleiaV tou aiwnoV
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately , saying Tell us, when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world ? |

| kai apokriqeiV o ihsouV eipen autoiV blepete mh tiV umaV planhsh
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. |
|
| polloi gar eleusontai epi tw onomati mou legonteV egw eimi o cristoV kai pollouV planhsousin
For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ; and shall deceive many. |
|
| mellhsete de akouein polemouV kai akoaV polemwn orate mh qroeisqe dei gar panta genesqai all oupw estin to teloV
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet. |
|
| egerqhsetai gar eqnoV epi eqnoV kai basileia epi basileian kai esontai limoi kai loimoi kai seismoi kata topouV
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. |

All these are the beginning of sorrows. |
|
| tote paradwsousin umaV eiV qliyin kai apoktenousin umaV kai esesqe misoumenoi upo pantwn twn eqnwn dia to onoma mou
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. |
|
| kai tote skandalisqhsontai polloi kai allhlouV paradwsousin kai mishsousin allhlouV
And then shall many be offended and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. |
|
| kai polloi yeudoprofhtai egerqhsontai kai planhsousin pollouV
And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. |
|
| kai dia to plhqunqhnai thn anomian yughsetai h agaph twn pollwn
And because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold |
|
| o de upomeinaV eiV teloV outoV swqhsetai
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved |
|
| kai khrucqhsetai touto to euaggelion thV basileiaV en olh th oikoumenh eiV marturion pasin toiV eqnesin kai tote hxei to teloV
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come |

| otan oun idhte to bdelugma thV erhmwsewV to rhqen dia danihl tou profhtou estoV en topw agiw o anaginwskwn noeitw
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, readeth let him understand |
|
| tote oi en th ioudaia feugetwsan epi ta orh
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: |
|
| o epi tou dwmatoV mh katabainetw arai ti ek thV oikiaV autou
Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: |
|
| kai o en tw agrw mh epistreyatw opisw arai ta imatia autou
Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. |
|
| ouai de taiV en gastri ecousaiV kai taiV qhlazousaiV en ekeinaiV taiV hmeraiV
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! |
|
| proseucesqe de ina mh genhtai h fugh umwn ceimwnoV mhde en sabbatw
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: |
|
| estai gar tote qliyiV megalh oia ou gegonen ap archV kosmou ewV tou nun oud ou mh genhtai
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be |
|
| kai ei mh ekolobwqhsan ai hmerai ekeinai ouk an eswqh pasa sarx dia de touV eklektouV kolobwqhsontai ai hmerai ekeinai
And except those days should be shortened there should no flesh be saved but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened |
|
| tote ean tiV umin eiph idou wde o cristoV h wde mh pisteushte
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo here is Christ, or there; believe it not. |
|
| egerqhsontai gar yeudocristoi kai yeudoprofhtai kai dwsousin shmeia megala kai terata wste planhsai ei dunaton kai touV eklektouV
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. |

Behold I have told you before |

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold he is in the desert; go not forth behold he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. |

| wsper gar h astraph exercetai apo anatolwn kai fainetai ewV dusmwn outwV estai kai h parousia tou uiou tou anqrwpou
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be |
|
| opou gar ean h to ptwma ekei sunacqhsontai oi aetoi
For wheresoever the carcase is there will the eagles be gathered together |
|
| euqewV de meta thn qliyin twn hmerwn ekeinwn o hlioV skotisqhsetai kai h selhnh ou dwsei to feggoV authV kai oi astereV pesountai apo tou ouranou kai ai dunameiV twn ouranwn saleuqhsontai
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken |

| kai tote fanhsetai to shmeion tou uiou tou anqrwpou en tw ouranw kai tote koyontai pasai ai fulai thV ghV kai oyontai ton uion tou anqrwpou ercomenon epi twn nefelwn tou ouranou meta dunamewV kai doxhV pollhV
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. |

| kai apostelei touV aggelouV autou meta salpiggoV fwnhV megalhV kai episunaxousin touV eklektouV autou ek twn tessarwn anemwn ap akrwn ouranwn ewV akrwn autwn
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other . |

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: |

| outwV kai umeiV otan idhte panta tauta ginwskete oti egguV estin epi quraiV
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. |
|
| amhn legw umin ou mh parelqh h genea auth ewV an panta tauta genhtai
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled |
|
| o ouranoV kai h gh pareleusontai oi de logoi mou ou mh parelqwsin
Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away |
|
| peri de thV hmeraV ekeinhV kai thV wraV oudeiV oiden oude oi aggeloi twn ouranwn ei mh o pathr mou monoV
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. |
|
| wsper de ai hmerai tou nwe outwV estai kai h parousia tou uiou tou anqrwpou
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be |
|
| wsper gar hsan en taiV hmeraiV taiV pro tou kataklusmou trwgonteV kai pinonteV gamounteV kai ekgamizonteV acri hV hmeraV eishlqen nwe eiV thn kibwton
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noe entered into the ark, |

| kai ouk egnwsan ewV hlqen o kataklusmoV kai hren apantaV outwV estai kai h parousia tou uiou tou anqrwpou
And knew not until the flood came and took them all away so shall also the coming of the Son of man be |
|
| tote duo esontai en tw agrw o eiV paralambanetai kai o eiV afietai
Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left |
|
| duo alhqousai en tw mulwni mia paralambanetai kai mia afietai
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left |
|
| grhgoreite oun oti ouk oidate poia wra o kurioV umwn ercetai
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come |
|
| ekeino de ginwskete oti ei hdei o oikodespothV poia fulakh o klepthV ercetai egrhgorhsen an kai ouk an eiasen diorughnai thn oikian autou
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come he would have watched and would not have suffered his house to be broken up |
|
| dia touto kai umeiV ginesqe etoimoi oti h wra ou dokeite o uioV tou anqrwpou ercetai
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh |
|
| tiV ara estin o pistoV douloV kai fronimoV on katesthsen o kurioV autou epi thV qerapeiaV autou tou didonai autoiV thn trofhn en kairw
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season ? |
|
| makarioV o douloV ekeinoV on elqwn o kurioV autou eurhsei poiounta outwV
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing |
|
| amhn legw umin oti epi pasin toiV uparcousin autou katasthsei auton
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods |
|
| ean de eiph o kakoV douloV ekeinoV en th kardia autou cronizei o kurioV mou elqein
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming |
|
| kai arxhtai tuptein touV sundoulouV esqiein de kai pinein meta twn mequontwn
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken |
|
| hxei o kurioV tou doulou ekeinou en hmera h ou prosdoka kai en wra h ou ginwskei
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of |
|
| kai dicotomhsei auton kai to meroV autou meta twn upokritwn qhsei ekei estai o klauqmoV kai o brugmoV twn odontwn
And shall cut him asunder and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
